In a surprising turn of events, the once-strong dynasty of the Golden State Warriors suffered an embarrassing blowout and was completely demolished by the upcoming championship aspirants and league leader, the Boston Celtics.
The Celtics are 48-12 in the season and have now won 11 straight games. They are 8.5 games ahead of the second-seeded Milwaukee Bucks in the East.
On the other hand, the Warriors have a 34-27 record, ninth in the West, and are virtually tied with the tenth-seeded Los Angeles Lakers for a potential Play-In match-up.
